Mary with Marty 

Mary

A fourth-generation Oregonian, Mary has 15 years of veterinary management experience.  She earned a B.A. in Geography from the University of Oregon and also has worked in restaurant management.  Her interests include cooking, reading, driving son Sam to his ski races, cross country and track meets, and playing with the family pets.  She welcomes your comments and suggestions on all aspects of the Hillsdale Veterinary Group.

Alex with Humbug

Alex

Alex grew up in Philomath and moved to Portland after graduating from high school.  He has been a volunteer for the Oregon Humane Society and several veterinary clinics.  In addition to his work as a technician, Alex plays an important role in maintaining all our technology, from computers to digital x-ray.

Katy

Katy was born in Oregon City and raised in Portland. Katy worked as a veterinary assistant, Nutro nutrition specialist and for a doggie daycare before joining us. Katy spends most of her free time volunteering at an equine rescue training horses. Katy enjoys jet skiiing, trail riding, camping and spending time with her cat Blackjack and her Boston Terrier, Reno.

Jenni

Jenni was raised in Congo, Africa, and moved to Oregon at the age of 12. She earned a Bachelors degree in psychology from Western Oregon University and has worked as a veterinary assistant, a dog day-care attendant, and a trainer for eventing horses. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and camping with her 3 dogs, training and competing with her horses in dressage and jumping, and caring for a small menagerie of farm animals. In addition, Jenni still manages to find time for school!

Amy

Amy moved to Oregon from Minnesota after working at a small animal practice in Minneapolis for 7 years. She is a certified veterinary technician and received her veterinary technology degree in 2002 from Argosy University. She has been working in the veterinary field since she was a teenager.

Amy’s special interest is canine and feline behavior. She has taken extensive continuing education classes and passed examinations in 2004 to earn a specialty credential as a behavior technician. She is a member of the Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians and provides behavioral consultation to our patients.

When not working, Amy enjoys movies, books, and spending time with her family. She has two cats: Miracle and Foreman, and a French Bulldog named Stanley.
