Dr. Caroline Schram graduated with a BS in Human Biology from Stanford University with her initial career as a middle and high school science teacher. After obtaining her masters degree in Education from Harvard she taught for a few more years before embarking on a career change. She attended UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was active in both the Shelter Medicine Club and The Orphan Kitten Project. Upon graduation, Dr. Schram completed a one year small animal internship at Pet Care Veterinary Hospital in Santa Rosa and continued to work in Sonoma County and San Francisco prior to moving to Portland. She has a particular passion for feline medicine, dermatology and emergency medicine but loves all aspects of general practice. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 young daughters and their menagerie of pets – two adorable canine mutts and two feisty felines.
