"I've been going here for about 5 years for my two elderly cats (now passed) and now my two wee dogs. I switched here after Dr. Kellogg (formerly of Burlingame Vet) retired and was unimpressed by the new vets/pricing.I've been to half a dozen or so different vets and vet clinics all over town and I've been really happy with Hillsdale Vet Hospital. Every experience has been great. The vets and staff are kind, respectful and caring. They take excellent care of my wee fur kids and I find their pricing to be fair (not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but a bargain for the quality of care).I'm especially fond of how seriously they've taken the (yes still ongoing) pandemic. They are still requiring strict masking and distancing requirements. Their respect for the health of their staff and clients in the face of the abuse they face from anti-maskers is laudable (I witnessed one such interaction from a particularly virulent specimen at my last visit ). These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, exam facilities, patient care, cleanliness, client service, emergency services, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. Only 15% of animal hospitals in the United States and Canada are accredited by AAHA, which is recognized worldwide as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine.
